About
Meet Steve
My experience in the housing and business industries include working for twenty-five years at a Fortune 500 company, owning and operating a handyman business, and working in real estate rental property.
Having personally bought, renovated, and sold numerous properties, I know firsthand what issues can impact safety, value, and long-term peace of mind—insights I share with my clients during inspections.

When I’m not on the job, I enjoy being outdoors, improving our land and home, and meeting new people through my business and the Yankton-area community.
I promise to...
Understand your needs and your client's needs to best serve you.
Provide realtors and home buyers with facts they need to make knowledgeable and informed decisions.
Never compromise a thorough inspection for the sake of time.
Provide honest customer service that I would expect to receive when buying my own home.

The Benefits of Certified Work
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Surgeon General, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) strongly recommend that ALL homebuyers have an indoor radon test performed prior to purchase or taking occupancy, and recommend having the radon levels mitigated if elevated radon concentrations are found. Elevated radon concentrations can easily be reduced by an NRPP Certified radon mitigator.

Steve’s certification involves 96 hours of education through the Center for Environmental Training Institute, as well as in-field exercises and mentorship with other certified radon mitigation businesses. While this education, training and certification is not required in South Dakota, Steve felt it important to have the right knowledge for this field of work.

Inspections for Homes in the State of Iowa
As of July 1, 2025, Iowa’s Home Inspection Accountability Act requires every home inspector in Iowa to meet new qualifications, follow standardized report requirements, and comply with strict accountability measures. This new law was created to protect Iowa homebuyers and sellers by ensuring that inspections are consistent, reliable, and performed by properly qualified Iowa home inspectors.

I am a certified Iowa home inspector who fully meets the new qualifications under the Home Inspection Accountability Act.

I am recognized by the State of Iowa as a qualified, professional home inspector authorized to perform inspections under the new law. Whether you are buying a home, selling a home, or investing in Iowa real estate, you can trust that your inspection will comply with the latest Iowa standards and give you the accurate, detailed information you need to make confident decisions.
